Girl’s Night Out- A Taste of Country

Date: July 25 & 26
Price: $500

Up to five gals can slip away for a weekend to remember.

Friday evening:
• 6:00 - Pizza party
• 8:00 - Head out to see a live production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It at Four County Players.

Saturday morning:
• 9:00 - Breakfast where the locals eat –hot coffee in real cups and made-to-order food served on real plates.
• 10:00 - Walk next door to the Handcraft House for craft time where you will learn to make a matchbook style photo brag book. All supplies will be included.
• 12:00 - Experience more local flavor at an old-fashioned drug store where you will have made-from-scratch sandwiches (choice of egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, pimento cheese, ham, grilled cheese, PB&J or hot dog), potato chips, large fountain coke in a real glass, hand-dipped ice cream cone and cup of fresh coffee.
• 1:00 - Free for the afternoon to shop the antique shops, hike in the Shenandoah National Park or return to the Old Mill House for a massage or nap. Dinner will be on your own.

Sunday morning:
• Enjoy a leisure country breakfast on the back porch listening to the creek and looking at the Blue Ridge Mountains. Leave the peaceful valley any time you choose on Sunday feeling refreshed and ready to return to face a new week.

Personal Outdoor Scout and Guide

Hunting and fishing in the area surrounding the Shenandoah National Park is as good as it gets. Local expert outdoorsman, Walt Wharton, is willing to share with you all the knowledge he has garnered over the years doing what he loves most--being in the streams and woods.

If you are interested in a personal guided fishing trip, we can arrange for him to be your personal scout and guide for $25 an hour. Please ask the innkeeper about this activity when you call.
